Elizabeth Linares

Elizabeth Linares is the first-born daughter of Puerto Rican parents.  Born and raised in New York, Linares was hard hit by the September 11th attacks on our nation.  An avid photographer since childhood, it was this moment that caused her to reevaluate her life and pursue her passion for inspirational photography full time.     

She now paints with light.   While painting with light, her images are captured by the heart.  Elizabeth's original pieces are passionate, joyful, thought-provoking, and uplifting.   

Certified by the Washington School of Photography, Linares’ work has been recognized nationally by the Washington Gallery of Photography in Washington, DC.  She is a Professional Photographer of America and an Emerging Associate Member of the American Society of Media Photographers. 

During her free time Elizabeth enjoys reading, practicing yoga, and playing with the new love of her life, her young grandson. 

Elizabeth Linares' inspiration comes from her appreciation of life.  Knowing that we are put on this earth for just so many days and no more has taught her to be grateful for the moment.  Knowing that certain people are put in our lives for a reason gives her cause to listen and see everyone she encounters.
